Walking through different areas of Beijing is one of my favorite things to do in the city, and each season brings something special to the atmosphere.
I recently took a walk through the Gulou hutongs and wanted to just share a photo journey and video of the walk. The hutongs can be quite charming during the winter time, with local winter snacks like Bing Tang Hulu and sweet potatoes being sold. So enjoy these hutong winter scenes!
