I have some news: I have launched a WeChat group dedicated to Beijing City Life!
Having lived in China since 2015 and calling Beijing home since 2018, I hold a deep love for this culturally rich capital. To me, Beijing is not just a city; it’s an experience. From its iconic landmarks to the hidden gems tucked away in its historic hutongs, there’s always something new to discover, and I love exploring and sharing about it!
I’ve been asked numerous questions about specific aspects of Beijing life, and so the idea of creating a WeChat community dedicated to all things Beijing emerged.
This WeChat group will serve as a direct community to share the wealth of information about Beijing – from cultural insights to the latest happenings in the city. While platforms like Instagram abound with content, the specific Beijing-related posts often gets lost in the sea of content. It’s hard to stay the most up-to-date on things on other social media, whereas WeChat is the platform we are using every single day in our daily interactions in China.
*Note: This group is Beijing specific, not about general travel in China. I’m open to creating a general China travel group if there is an interest for it.
Also, I receive so many similar questions across my platforms, that I feel it will be helpful to have one central place to chat and share answers, and be able to directly share links, locations, and contacts.
