I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be hosting my first photography exhibition this Friday, December 27, 2024, at the beautiful Catherine de France Salon in Sanlitun, Beijing.
This collection, titled “Mountains, Villages, and Hidden Gems: A Solo Female’s Exploration of China’s Beauty,” is deeply personal to me—it’s a celebration of my trips traveling solo across China over the past nine years.

When I moved to China in 2015, I had no idea how much this country would shape me. Over the years, I’ve explored 25 provinces and countless cities, venturing to mountains, villages, cities, and remote hidden gems.
Many of these trips were solo, and people often ask me how I captured the photos of myself in such vast, scenic landscapes. The answer is simple: me, my camera, and my trusty tripod (and sometimes a good dose of patience to wait and get the perfect shot!)

Before I created short-form video content, my passion was photography and writing for my blog. Back in 2018, I embarked on one of my favorite solo trips—a three-week journey from Furong Village in Hunan to Xijiang Miao Village in Guizhou and finally to Lijiang and Tiger Leaping Gorge in Yunnan.
That trip challenged and inspired me, teaching me so much about independence, creativity, and the sheer joy of exploring a country as diverse as China.

For this exhibition, I’ve curated a selection of photographs that reflect those early years of travel. In these images, you’ll often see me in the frame, but in a subtle way—not as the focus, but as part of the vast and stunning landscapes around me. My goal has always been to showcase the soul of China’s natural beauty and inspire others to explore its rich and diverse places.

This exhibition is curated by CDF ART HUB with the support of ArtTalksBeijing, and I’m incredibly grateful for their collaboration in making this event possible.
